So I haven't blogged a lot this month because I was working on trying to win the BzzAgent contest and we ended up going on a vacation. The spammer that's leaving comments on my blog isn't helping matters either.

Can I just saying driving with four children more than five hours is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy? OK, it wasn't that bad but it was a far cry from peaceful.

Anyway, we made it to our hotel about 11:30 p.m. (you have to pee again? really?) I had booked adjoining rooms thinking the 10 year old would sleep in one room with the twins in the bunk beds. We would sleep in the other with the youngest in a crib. Riiiiiight. What ended up happening was me, the 10 year old, and the baby in one bed, hubby in the king by himself, and the twins actually stayed put in the bunks. The 2 year old fell asleep at 3 a.m., which meant I did too, and I woke at 5 a.m. because of a certain someone and a leaky diaper. The twins were up at 7 a.m. Who needs sleep?

We went to Santa's Village (after a couple of wrong turns even with the GPS on) and before three hours had gone by, it started to pour. I wasn't about to leave ($125 for tickets!) so I went to the first aid station and got the free ponchos. Eventually though I had to admit defeat as we were one of three families left in the whole park (well, it seemed that way anyway!) I got a "rein" check though (get, it "rain/rein"?) so we can return for free anytime until October. Have to re-energize first!

Thrilled children before the rain came
